Ingredients

200 g oat flakes

150 g cashews

40 g coconut chips

100 ml maple syrup

2 tablespoons coconut oil

10 g cocoa powder

30 g dark chocolate or chocolate drops

preparation

Preheat the oven to 160° top/bottom heat.

Put the oats, cashews, coconut chips, cocoa powder and sea salt in a bowl and mix.

Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan over low to medium heat. Add the maple syrup and stir well. Then pour the liquid over the dry ingredients and stir well. Chop half of the chocolate drops or alternatively the dark chocolate into small pieces and fold in. Make sure that everything is well distributed.

Place the granola on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 20 minutes. After 5-8 minutes, turn the mixture every now and then with a fork to make sure the sides don't burn. Let the granola cool for about 10 minutes and add the remaining chocolate.

About Cashew cocoa granola

Granola really is ALWAYS a good idea! For breakfast, for dessert or just as a snack. Granola can be made in no time at all and there are no limits to your creativity when preparing it. It also keeps for at least 6 weeks in an airtight container! But most of the time it's already eaten up before then because it tastes too good.
