INGREDIENTS:

For the dough:     

60 g oat flour

3 tablespoons plant-based yogurt

2 tbsp applesauce

½ tsp baking powder

1 pinch of salt

½ tsp cinnamon

80 ml plant milk     

For the cinnamon swirl:     

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp nut butter / vanilla spread

1 tbsp of dough

1 tbsp almond milk     

Icing:     

2 tbsp (birch) powdered sugar

a few drops of water

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 180°C. For the batter, combine the wet ingredients and then stir in the dry ingredients. For the swirl, combine 1 tablespoon of the batter with the cinnamon, nut butter, and almond milk in a small bowl. Transfer to a plastic bag or piping bag and pipe the cinnamon swirl onto the batter in a spiral pattern. Bake for 17-18 minutes, then immediately decorate with icing. Enjoy while still warm!
