Ingredients

150 g oat flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar baking powder

180 g unsweetened applesauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

50 g virgin coconut oil, melted

6 tablespoons maple syrup

A pinch of sea salt

Mix all ingredients together and let rest for about 10 minutes.

In the meantime, preheat the waffle iron and rub it with some coconut oil.

Pour ¼ of the batter into the waffle iron in portions and bake until the waffle is browned.

Carefully loosen it from the waffle iron with a knife and remove it.

The waffle is still a bit soft, but will become crispy after cooling briefly.

My recipe for super delicious VEGAN WAFFLES - without refined sugar and gluten-free.
Waffles bring back many childhood memories for me as I have always loved eating them. You can enjoy them in many different ways, but my favorite is with our chocolatey Hazelnut Dark Chocolate Spread or Cashew Coconut Caramel Spread and fresh fruit - yum!
The waffles are perfect for a weekend breakfast, but can also be frozen and thawed at any time.
