Ingredients

INGREDIENTS FOR THE PRALINES:

350 g dates

200 g hazelnuts

50 g oat flakes

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 pinch of salt

FOR THE CHOCOLATE LAYER

120 g cocoa butter

75 g cocoa powder

80 g maple syrup

preparation

Put the dates, hazelnuts, oat flakes and cocoa powder with a pinch of salt into the blender or food processor and mix well. If the mixture is too sticky, you can add a little more oat flakes.

Form the mixture into balls and work one to three hazelnuts into the middle of each one.

Now you can prepare the chocolate. If you make the chocolate yourself, you can simply melt the cocoa butter in a water bath. Then add the maple syrup and cocoa powder and let it cool until the cocoa mass thickens a little. If you have ready-made dark chocolate, you can also simply melt it in a water bath.

Finally, you should roll the pralines in melted dark chocolate and then place them on baking paper. The nougat balls should now be placed in the fridge until the chocolate has solidified.

About Chocolate hazelnut pralines

Hazelnuts have many positive properties, but few people like them in their pure form. In trail mix, for example, hazelnuts are usually the only nut left. But everyone loves the famous hazelnut nougat cream from Italy.
So it's time to get creative. How about hazelnut pralines, for example?! Chocolatey on the outside. A dream of hazelnut nougat on the inside.
